Therapy for women navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges in California.
I help women who are ready to heal — from the things they’ve carried for too long.
Therapy with me is about creating a safe space where you can slow down, feel, and begin to understand yourself in deeper ways. We explore old patterns, the stories you’ve been told, and the ones you’re ready to rewrite. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected- in your body, your relationships, and your life.
Trauma
Trauma isn’t just the big, obvious stuff — it can be the emotional neglect, the betrayal, the way you were taught to stay quiet or take care of everyone else first. It can show up as being “too nice,” people-pleasing, always waiting for the other shoe to drop, or having a hard time trusting anyone (even yourself). In therapy, we’ll slow down and learn to feel safe in your body again, process whats been stored there, and reconnect with parts of you that you had to shut down to survive.
Anxiety
Anxiety can make it feel like your brain never shuts off. You’re always overthinking, worrying about what could go wrong, or feeling restless even when everything seems fine. Together we’ll explore where that anxiety comes from — because it’s often tied to old fears and patterns. You’ll learn how to calm your body, regulate your nervous system, and feel more present and grounded — instead of stuck in the “what ifs.”
Depression
Depression can feel like you’re carrying a weight that no one else can see. You might feel unmotivated, disconnected, or just not like yourself. Sometimes you even feel guilty for not feeling okay when “you should be.” In our work, we’ll bring curiosity and compassion to that part of you that’s hurting, help you reconnect with meaning, and start finding light in places you forgot existed.
Relationship Challenges
Whew… dating these days? It’s a lot. Ghosting, breadcrumbing, attachment wounds — it can feel like everyone’s emotionally unavailable. Together we’ll look at your patterns, help you understand what draws you to certain people, and get clear on what healthy love actually looks and feels like. You deserve relationships that are consistent, respectful, and emotionally safe — and it starts with you showing up for you.
Domestic Violence & Intimate Partner Violence
If you’ve ever been in a relationship where you lost yourself — where love felt confusing, unsafe, or conditional — you’re not alone. We’ll work through the guilt, self-doubt, and fear that often come with leaving (or even thinking about leaving) a toxic situation. My goal is to help you rebuild your self-worth, trust yourself again, and learn that love doesn’t have to hurt or cost your peace.
Sexual Abuse Survivors
Hey love — if you’ve ever been through sexual trauma, please know that you are not alone and none of it was your fault. Sometimes it shows up as numbness, trouble trusting others, guilt, shame, or feeling disconnected from your body. You might even question why it still affects you — but your body remembers what your mind tried to forget.
Our work together is gentle and at your pace. We focus on helping you feel safe again in your body, rebuilding trust, and releasing the shame that was never yours to hold. Through somatic and emotional work, we help your nervous system heal so you can feel grounded, worthy, and connected again. Healing isn’t about forgetting what happened — it’s about coming home to yourself and remembering that you are not what happened to you.
Rewriting your story
I use a psychodynamic approach, which means we look beneath the surface together. Many of our reactions come from old patterns or protective parts of ourselves.
In therapy, we gently explore those layers—not to stay in the past, but to understand how it shaped you and how you can move forward with more awareness and compassion.
Here’s what I’ll also be integrating:
Guided imagery
Breath work
Empowerment-focused practices.
Together, we’ll work on:
Healing from trauma, abuse, and painful relationship dynamics
Rebuilding self-esteem and confidence
Learning to regulate emotions and soothe the nervous system
Recognizing and breaking old survival patterns
Cultivating inner safety and self-trust
Strengthening your voice and sense of empowerment
Showing up is the first step.
Therapy is a journey, and everyone moves at their own pace. We don’t need all the answers; we simply need to show up for us. Taking this first step allows you to prioritize you.
